Job description

  • Procurement manager in the field of industrial and civil engineering constructions;
  • Minimum professional experience of 2 years in procurement;

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing products, ensuring that they meet specifications and can be delivered on time at the most advantageous prices;
  • Supplying goods, works or services locally in accordance with the technical specifications received and the specified cost, quality and delivery targets;
  • Carrying out market research;
  • Acting as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments regarding procurement processes and new projects and activities;
  • Monitoring and advising on any issues that present risks or opportunities for the organization;
  • Providing new and existing cost analysis and reviewing cost reduction activities;
  • Preparing reports and updates as required;
  • Collaborate with others within the procurement function, both locally and globally, and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business enhancement;
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms, improve pricing and terms of business with suppliers, and analyze opportunities to make business savings, utilizing negotiation best practices and procurement tools and methods;
  • Building, maintaining and managing relationships with suppliers and maintaining good communication;
  • Ongoing monitoring of supplier lists and pricing terms to ensure favorable trading conditions;
  • Ensuring the right assortment of products at the right time achieved through data analysis.
  • Develop merchandise purchasing plan based on sales forecasts;
  • Coordinating projects and working closely with engineering and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction;
  • Develop tools to support the sales team and ensure accurate information is communicated to the market;
  • Solving problems and improving process flows;

The ideal candidate

  • University Degree;
  • At least 2 years' experience in procurement
  • Skills in data analysis, stock management
  • Knowledge of procurement, ability to synthesize and attention to detail
  • Willingness/ability to work in a team
  • Person with good organizational, communication and planning skills
  • Foreign languages: English at an intermediate level
  • Proactive, results-oriented person
  • Average experience in using Microsoft Office
