Vanaton

While this article should have been out in April announcing our grand opening on a certain day in May and with it all being postponed due the COVID-19 situation, we decided to roll our sleeves up and dive right into the action and save the party for later.  Without further ado, here it is, Vanaton, our first prefabricated concrete factory in Romania.

Why did we build it? What are we producing? What are your advantages as a client?

Our preferred construction type is precast concrete. Although we can provide mixed solutions combining concrete columns with steel beams or steel trusses, concrete is still a big part of our construction.  Having our own production plant that only serves Willy Naessens Group in Romania reduces our clients’ costs and improves construction schedules significantly.  Thus, we decided to invest in a 6500sqm brand new facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to serve our construction division in Romania. 

Vanaton produces prefabricated concrete columns, precast pretensioned concrete beams and purlins as well as prefabricated wall panels of the highest quality standards.  Although we standardised our formwork for certain dimensions for each element to reduce costs and become more efficient, we can easily adjust to the specific project requirements.  We linked our in-house design and production processes to minimise errors and increase efficiency. 

How does it help our clients?  First of all, our clients benefit from Willy Naessens’ years of knowledge and experience in working with concrete.  Producing our own concrete elements to our own standards ensures the best quality for our clients.  Secondly, due to its location near A1 motorway, we are able to reduce the transportation costs and times when delivering concrete elements to sites located in the South of Romania.  In conclusion, our clients benefit from our best quality assurance developed through years of experience as well as from our reduced production and transportation costs.
